Pacita Abinales, M.D.

Dr. Pacita Abinales, along with her husband Dr. Benjamin V. Abinales, began serving the Pinellas County community in 1977 when they established Abinales & Abinales, M.D., P.A. which is still serving the community today as Tampa Bay Med.

Dr. Abinales attended University of Santo Thomas in the Philippines, where she obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree. She also continued her medical education as a Clinical Associate at Polyclinical Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. Additionally, she completed her Family Medicine Residency and served as Chief Resident at Polyclinical Hospital. She was appointed House Physician at both Shaker Medical Hospital in Shaker Heights, Ohio and Veterans Memorial Hospital in Brecksville, Ohio. Dr. Abinales also served as the team physician for the Cleveland Browns in the 1970’s.

Dr. Abinales is a member of the Florida Medical Association, the Association of Philippine Physicians in America, the Philippine Medical Society, the Florida Medical Directors Association, and the American Medical Directors Association.

Dr. Abinales’ civic involvements include membership on the Board of the Philippine Cultural Foundation, the Philippine Choral Group, and the Philippine American Association of Pinellas County.

Benjamin J. Abinales, M.D

Benjamin J. Abinales, M.D has been serving in Pinellas County since 2010, when he joined his mother, Dr. Pacita Abinales, in their Internal Medicine practice established in St. Petersburg, Florida in 1977.

Dr. Abinales obtained his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. He continued his education at Cebu Doctor’s College of Medicine in the Philippines and completed his residency at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois in June 2010.

Dr. Abinales is a specialist in Internal Medicine. He is experienced in providing care in the hospital setting, as well as in the assisted living and rehabilitation settings.

Dr. Abinales served as the physician for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the 2015 Season. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and spending time with family.

Brittany Yates, MSN, ARNP

Brittany Yates, MSN, ARNP is a board certified nurse practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Her specialty is focused in Family Practice. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Florida, and continued her education to obtain her Masters of Nursing from Keiser University.

Prior to becoming on staff with Dr. Abinales and her advanced practice work, she worked many years in the emergency rooms for Hospital Corporation of America, in Tallahassee and also here in Pinellas County.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys.

Natasha Blanco, MSN, ARNP

Natasha Blanco MSN ARNP is a board certified nurse practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Her specialty is focused in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida and obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida.

Prior to her education in advanced nursing, she served as a BSN prepared Registered Nurse with the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida and Bay Pines, Florida, focused in medical-surgical Oncology care and Chemotherapy administration. For fun she enjoys time outdoors with her husband kayak-fishing, her cat Cosmo, and is fan of the Tampa Bay Lightning and Tampa Bay Rays.

Carmine J. Chioccariello, P.T.

Carmine J. Chioccariello graduated from Daemen College, located in Amherst New York in 1994 with a degree in Physical Therapy.

His impressive career includes physical therapy and rehabilitation for over 25 years. Carmine has worked with more than 25,000 patients including some of Tampa Bay’s premiere athletes, helping them back to an active, healthy and productive lifestyle.
